This is not a course for students who want to be psychologists. It is more of a course for students who want to do both.What you will do is listen to a speech being given by an actor. You will then create a speech to mirror what was done by the actor. I know this sounds like it would be boring. It isn't! It's actually quite exciting, as this is also one of the few places in college where you can add two things together.The Writing Sample to Endotherms Listening course is an introduction to the interview-listening skill. Interview-listening is a skill that has been ignored by many people in college. This is because they do not realize that just by hearing someone's interview, they can learn so much about that person.It is also an excellent skill for any date or relationship, because it will help you to pick up on exactly what it is that the other person is really looking for. In this case, it is exactly what any relationship is looking for - love. For a relationship that does not exist, you could use the endotherms listening skill to gain perspective.You will be given a brief speech to give and will be expected to listen to it in order to find the one most similar to what the person was trying to say. How long this takes depends entirely on the person giving the speech. That's why I say that you should practice the Speech Sample to Endotherms Listening exercise on your own so that you can better imitate the speakers.You will also need to read an interview that you have never heard before, which means using a speech that you have heard on the radio or on a television show. You will want to listen to this until you hear it differently than how you normally hear it. You will also need to listen to the audio in context, where you t ake the interviewer's words and then modify them in some way. This is what will make you more confident in your ability to do this.Once you have done this enough times, you will then need to write your own speech, which is just a speech you have listened to. You will repeat it to yourself, but try to eliminate anything in it that is too similar to what the interviewer was trying to get across. To do this, use the speech that you wrote in the endotherms listening exercise and then listen to it in context. If the words don't sound right to you, you have probably gone too far away from the interview.Finally, write your own speech, which is the speech that you would be giving to a date or a lover if you were dating. Again, use the speech in the listening exercise and use the context to see if there are any similarities between your speech and the one being given. If there are, you have succeeded in writing your own speech.
